iovation began in Portland in 2004 with the belief that the internet should be a safe place for people to do business. To that end, they developed products that stop fraudsters before they can hack into websites and apps of many high profile brands in the finance, gambling, gaming and ticketing sectors. Given that traditional fraud prevention technology has slowed users down, they also developed products that have greatly eased the authentication process while being even more effective and accurate at identifying cybercriminals. They prevent an average of 900,000 fraudulent transactions from taking place, every day; their customers and analysts have contributed 65 million reports of fraud and abuse attempts that have been successfully prevented.
iovation has protected over 42 billion customer transactions since 2004. The company was recently purchased by TransUnion.
